Ordered this service set to bring my relatively new 8 service set up to 12. The weight, design and sizing of this set is great! No easily bent spoons or forks with the good shank thickness of this set. The design relief adds to the visual of this set and provides additional handling ease. Some reviews have noted issue with the cornered edge design, although I can see where that may be a turn off for some I don't find the edges sharp enough to be a problem. Good sizing difference between dinner fork/salad fork and table/tea spoons. The stainless is brilliant and with proper care [actually read the do's and don'ts sheet included by Oneida],expect this product to last for many years [6mos thus far]. I suppose I could complain about the butter knife not being sharp enough, but that would be because it's a "DINNER KNIFE" and I have a nice set of steak knifes anyway :). You'll find the knife ready to perform handly on the vast majority of meal items [even properly prepared steak].

We have had this unit for years, never a day goes by that I don't use it. Steaks, pork chops, fish, pot roast they all go in and come out wonderful....Read the book, use the proper temperature....you should have no problems. Matter of fact we bought a second one, just in case something wears out so that we would have a replacement. Wonderful for summer, so no need to turn on the big oven.

I had recently purchased the JBL On Stage IIIP Portable Speaker Dock for iPod and iPhone (Black) when it was recently on sale here at Amazon, and I was, and remain, happy with the sound from it for the price I paid. However, this I-Elegance unit came to my attention, accompanied by rave reviews, so again because of the reasonable price, I purchased it on the theory that one can never have too many portable iPod speakers. I have to say that the sound from this little bitty thing equals or surpasses the JBL at 60% of the price. It has *great* sound for its size. [I should add that I don't play bass-heavy rock on it, nor do I crank it up to ear-splitting, sound-distorting volume levels.] The mini-woofer and the E-Sound both contribute to a very nice sound played at a pretty high volume. I'm surprised at the quality of this little package, and its portability all in one small carry bag. I have rated the features five stars based on both the size of the unit and its price, not comparing it to Bose, etc., as that would be apples to oranges.

I bought this item a few weeks ago but really just took it out for a test drive on the 4th of July. Like other reviewers have said, this sucks the life out of your batteries in a heartbeat (what do you expect from AA batteries in a sound device).

The sound quality is actually quite nice for the size of this unit and spending $38 bucks on a unit that is normally over a hundred cant be beat.

Bought this as a gift and am going to get one for myself. We bout this in the 7", 2+ cup size, which is a great size for most kitchen uses. It's VERY heavy, which is great and is actually why we purchased it. The person we are gifting it to is getting arthritis and we wanted to get something that they didn't have to try and hold in place while they are crushing stuff. This is so heavy that it shouldn't budge an inch while in use. Perfect!

Mashes up anything without worry. NOT FRAGILE, Go crazy pounding on any mixture. If the power goes out, you will be the only one on the block cooking a fine meal. Ive used it for anything from grinding tea to a powder, to carefully mashing a cup of juice from pomegranate pods. Although it has many uses and few things to worry about breakage wise, it is a heavy object and may be difficult to lift/handle especially for people who cannot pull up 25+ lbs with one hand.

Rock Solid; but women, curl up your sleeves for this one. It's going to take some muscle.

There are enough reviews of this piece of kitchen product and art form, so this won't be long. You will never find a higher quality mortar and pestle, and I'm pretty sure you won't find one that looks better either.

The thing is built like a tank - but one that has been hardened to resist a nuclear explosion. These things could serve as foundation stones for a house. Should last 10 lifetimes and still look exactly the same.

One last thing - with mortar and pestles, it's almost always better to go big. Pay a few extra dollars for the 8 inch / 3-cup model so it will be perfect for pesto, curry, guacamole, and grinding out large batches of spice blends.

Amazing product.

I already bought the Plantronics DSP-400 and some other model before this one.

Now, I use DSP-500 at work, and the foldable DSP-400 at home or on the go.

I always had problems with this type of headphones because I never found any comfortable headphones in the past. After 1 or 2 hours, my head would hurt because of the pressure that some headsets make.

I think that the Plantronics DSP-500 are extremely comfortable and the sound quality and the microphone are very good.

I use them with MacOSX and I own both the DSP-500 and DSP-400 for about 2 years.
